My seven year old has been on Trileptal for complex partial seizures for two years. He just started having sudden jerks with his arms and face. Has anyone experienced this or know what might be going on?

He has been sick for a couple of weeks fighting a cold, but he's been sick before and this never happened.

Would also suggest it sounds like myoclonic seizures. Would it be worth contacting his Neuro to discuss.
