unsure if i'm in the right part of the house.

however my query is to do with medicinal marketing...

why are there alternate names (eg. 'epilim' and 'depakote') used for valpro?
is it just two separate manufacturers? and does that mean they have slightly different additives?

It seems like most of the name differences are between drugs marketed for the USA versus the rest of the world. I'm guessing it has something to do with patents and trademarks - especially where there are multiple manufacturers.

I'm not sure. If they are manufactured by different companies, I would think there is a high likelyhood of differences in the fillers/binders.

any pharmacist out there who knows what kind of fillers are used in epilim?

I remember they had to recall gabapentin due to the fact that it had something in the filler that was unacceptable. It was being manufactured in India. That was in the news here at CWE, otherwise I would never have known it.
