Did not find a thread that was pure Mayo Clinic, just some mentioning of them.
I went to ask.com to look up hfcs because of those new commercials that push the sweetener.
For grins, I typed in epilepsy. After some wiggling around, I found some general stuff that may be of interest to some people.

Of particular interest is the brain slide show which shows bits and pieces and how they work. Also, there are links that you may want to click on for curiosities sake.

Thanks Shelley!

Another great resource is just what we need!

Mayo Clinic has a new book out:

I have not read it yet. It is wonderful to see that medical centers are seriously looking at nutrition.

Cleveland Clinic also has a book as well, and you can find
free information from there at Cleveland Clinic
and plus they have books on Epilepsy and much more as well!

A friend of mine (and employee of the Clinic actually) is currently using the Mayo Clinic Diet as her nutrition guide, and she absolutely adores it. I could bore you with all the praise I have for them--I am extremely lucky to have them as my primary care.

No need to worry about boring us Vanillalissa. It is a subject we all are familiar with, and are sponges for new info all the time. Please tell us they have found a "cure".
