Hi guys.
Has anyone taken antibiotics with their seizure meds? I have to get a root canal
and the dentist has told me that he will prescribe these for the post-canal treatment. I take Lamotrigine and clobozam (10 days a month for PMS)
I'm sure the dentist, pharmacist or my neurologist will give me their own information but it would be helpful to get some response from anyone who has gone through that experience.

My daughter was on those (not at the same time) but never had any issues with antibiotics and AED's...
 
I had antibiotics with recent surgery. There were no issues/conflicts with my Lamictal. Some AEDs do have restrictions with some antibiotics (e.g. Zonegran and penicillin, I think), but as you say, your dentist/pharm/neuro will have the scoop.
