I have been studying the works of a person who teaches people how to make their lives successful.
This person's name is Tim Kight. He uses a simple equation to show people that they can control the outcome of what happens in their life. That equation is E(event) + R(respnse) = O(outcome). :woot:
If you look at this equation and think about it you should be able to see that it is very true!
If something happens to you(event), the way that you respond to what happened(response) is going to determine what happens as a result(outcome). This means that a person can't just feel defeated after they experience a seizure. If that person is going to feel defeated they will NEVER get a positive result. However, if that same person holds their head up and continues to live their life w/o showing defeat they will be able to get a positive outcome because of their refusal to feel defeated!
This is a great way for a person w/E to keep their spirits high and NOT feel anxiety and feeling like 'damaged goods'!
If a person were to think this way it is very, very possible that they wouldn't have negative feelings about having a seizure and as much fear of having future seizures because they would know that even if a seizure were to take place, that seizure wouldn't have to result in negativity! :twocents:
