I was also diagnosed with psychogenic seizures. I suffer grand mals, absence, myoclonic jerking and simple partial. At one point I was told because I have more then one type it seems epilepsy is more likely. But last week I was told because I have different types they are more likely non-epileptic so I am all kinds of confused. I also had spinal meningitis as an infant which could play a role. The only EEG I had was a one hour and was normal.

Right, so I'm noticing while updating my tracker that my husband describes complex partials - in my sleep. I also experience myoclonic jerks while conscious. Usually my left leg at the hip. I'm wondering how likely it will be for me to keep this PNES label from the neuro. if I can document these other things.

I would love to do an Ambulatory EEG, but my seizures are also quite spread out. I'd like to do a video EEG too, but will HAVE to wait for insurance before I can try to get one.
