Ok, it's been 15 months since our DD, 14, had her first seizure (clonic).:e:

The road has been a bumpy one. I do think she is getting great care from our current neuro (2nd one). But... the frontal seizures are still breaking through. We are on our fourth medicine (zonegran). It was added to her daily AED Trileptal. Now trileptal is being tiraded down. SO she is on two.

She is a zombie, still having breakthroughs, and is depressed. I am heartbroken.

It seems that one med will work for several weeks and then it begins to fail. They up the dose with each breakthrough and her side effects become intolerable. SO, another AED is tried.

I am reading about neurofeedback as an alternative on this site. Anyone have a reduction in seizures with this method. Specifically, frontal and occipital?

Thanks
