Yup ... they used this during my first colonoscopy last summer (pre-seizure dx). I had another colonoscopy last week ... they called in the anesthesiologist for the second one.

I had twilight anesthesia when I got my wisdom teeth pulled some years ago. Except I have no recollection of the procedure or even leaving the room that the procedure was done in. I just remember "coming to" in a recovery room and my dad holding me up :\ And feeling extremely ill on the way home. Good times, good times.

I don't think I would have been in any condition to "follow simple instructions" from the surgeon. Or maybe I was, but just don't remember. I dunno. It was my choice though for sure. The dental surgeon asked if I just wanted a local or twilight anesthetic. I said, "Knock my ass out!!" lol.

I had some type of anesthesia for my colonoscopy. I did let them know ahead of time about my epilepsy, so they did a lighter dose. I remember the whole thing, but didn't have any pain. I can't take morphine because it causes me to be extremely ill.

Yes i had morphine after the operation to stich the cut tendon in my hand, using dissolvable stiches.Just pressed a button and a nurse came through and gave me an injection-nice night:)

Yes, for abdominal surgery. It bombed me out for three days and all I remember was waking up to throw up. Not good. I'd make a lousy addict. It was a long time ago though.
