I brought this up a while ago but as I remember it was basically the equivalent of a poll. Now I wonder how powerful is a "living will". I have heard that it can easily be disputed and I believe that my Dad is the most likely person to dispute it. Such as I don't want to be on life support but my Dad would never pull the plug. So a "living will" is not the answer for me. I was told by my counselor to look into making a "last will". A "last will" is a legal document. Now do you agree a "last will" is the way to go?

The Mayo Clinic published some advice regarding advanced directives, power of attorney and living wills:

A last will provides instructions on how to handle your estate when you die. I don't think it governs health care directives while you are still alive.

I have a Last Will and Testament, a power of attorney, and an advance directive stating that my life shall not be artificially prolonged for a period of seven days if I'm unconscious, have an incurable disease, injury, etc and the physician(s) certify that in writing.
I'd say have the Last Will and Testament along with an Advance Directive
