A friend of my daughters went to that same epilepsy center in Ohio where she had 1/2 of her brain removed as well. Amber has other issues going on besides the seizures, but is doing great. However, she continues having to take her sz meds. She is a miracle, and very inspiring. My daughter adores her.

Thanks for sharing Cathy. To actually know someone is very inspiring. I hope your daughter's friend continues to heal.

Wow, that's a fantastic story.
100 seizures a day, that has to take its toll, especially on a small child.
And for you Cathy to actually know someone that's had the operation with growing success.
These are the stories that should inspire further development and research, not just pump full of drugs and hope for the best.
