Good job, I've never heard it before so I was glad when I figured it out on my own!

Hi valeriedl. The horsese name was Friday, but I can't take credit. I have heard

Sorry for giving the answer away, I was sure I sent a private post.
Thanks valeriedl.

Have a good one.

Hi Buckeye Fan,

I've figured out that brain-teaser. Going to send you a pm now.

it reminds me of the old puzzle used in Die Hard2

"On my way to St. Ives I saw a man with 7 wives. Each wife had 7 sacks. Each sack had 7 cats. Each cat had 7 kittens. Kitten, cats, sacks, wives. How many were going to St. Ives?"

1 and it was in the 3rd Die Hard film. Number 2 was the the airport film.

This isn't really a puzzle, I just found it quite interesting.

Count every 'F ' in the following text:

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE
SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTI
FIC STUDY COMBINED WITH
THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS...
(SEE BELOW)

HOW MANY ?

PM or post, up to you. I'll put up the answer and reason later if anyone is interested.

3 'F's all I could see....

Ok pal, post the answer and reason! I tried!

The brain cannot process 'OF'.

Incredible or what? Go back and look again!!
Anyone who counts all 6 'F's' on the first go is a genius.

Three is normal, four is quite rare.

Anyways, I got that in an email a long time ago, and just found it. Thought it was pretty amusing. I only got three. :? I guess I am not the genius I thought I was.

6?

sheesh - I was looking for more than 6 thinking you disguised some Fs as Es, example FINISHFD

I counted 5 first time I missed an of, I'm certainly no genius though :ponder:

I counted six at once, didn't miss any of's.
Might be because English is a foreign language to me?
