    Seizure Background
I started having complex/absence seizures in 2009 while in the Army Reserves. They stopped within 6 months, but then came back in June 2014 and haven't stopped since. I haven't driven for almost 5 years now. I still live with my parents. I graduated college in 2013 with a civil engineering degree (math geek), but then the seizures came back. I have about 2 to 5 seizures a month (that I know of). I went back to college and got a degree in Business Analytics since it is more "office friendly" and I wouldn't be around heavy equipment. I graduated in May 2017 and started looking for a job, but wasn't getting any bites. Not having a recent job for 3 years doesn't help. I was going to start working ANYWHERE (ie McDonald's, Burger King, Walmart etc) just to get out of the house, but it was December and I was going to wait until after the holidays were over. However, come January 10, 2018, my dad got admitted to the hospital and I have been his caregiver since then (to this day). So my personal life is trapped between his condition and my own. I'm starting to get some help from the VA (Veterans Affairs) and might start getting more tests done to see what all is happening with me.
