    Seizure Background
Several years ago, I was diagnosed with complex partial seizures. The doctors were not sure exactly what brought them on. There were several things in my past history they believe could have been either the cause or a contributor. When I was born, I was what you might call a "blue baby." The cord had wrapped around my neck and I was not breathing. While in school, I had been hospitalized with viral meningitis and was out for about a month. In my 20s, I had a serious car accident and my head went through the windshield. It's a good thing I have a hard head. There is also a history of epilepsy on my dad's side of the family.
Since being diagnosed, my medications have had to be changed several times. Sometimes I feel like a guinea pig. Now complicating matters, I injured my neck in two places while having a seizure and now also suffer from severe headaches. Geez, the things we have to go through!
Felbatol 3600mg daily and Propranolol 160mg daily
I love drawing with charcoal, reading, listening to music and chatting with friends and family.
