    Seizure Background
I was diagnosed with intractable epilepsy when I was 8- I have TCs, PMs/Absence/Gelastic seizures.

If I had to pick a favourite I'd have to give that to the gelastics- I don't usually like using this word to convey a seizure but I affectionately call them my "laughing fits". It's like someone has told me the funniest joke known to man, only no one has said anything. My roommates like those best too, minus the fact that they can lead into a TC..I usually sit down when I have these haha : )

In my opinion epilepsy doesn't have you until you *let* epilepsy have you.
300 mg Lamictal, 300 mg Trileptal, and 1500 mg Keppra all 2x daily...I'm intractable so it doesn't eradicate the seizures but it certainly cuts down the number. I have a seizure or two per month.
