    Still dancing,

I saw your post mentioning chicken pox. I just found out that I had them about 6 months before my first seizure. I got a cold then with a fever and had my first seizure. What really drew my attention was that: 1. I knew chicken pox affects your nervous system. 2. The worst of the chicken pox were on my right side, which is the side affected by my seizures.

I have a brain tumor on the left side. I don't know if it could have been caused by the chicken pox, but it might have been activated by them. Is there any correspondance between where you had the worst of your spots, and where you are affected by your seizures?

    Seizure Background
I had my first gtc when I was ten from the chicken pox. It was thought it was from a high fever of course. The seizures just kept coming on. It looks like the chicken pox just triggered what was already there. I have many types of seizures. Grand Mal, Petit Mal, Myoclonic, Simple Partial, and Complex Partial. I also have these seizures nocturnally.I am a happy mom of a 12 and a half year old who also has epilepsy and is delayed with other disabilaties. He is my pride and joy. Alex is his name.
