I like looking for free websites that have movies etc. on them.
I found this site that is through various libraries.

They serve locations all over the U.S. and Canada:https://www.hoopladigital.com/

They use the Widevine player:
I had never even heard of it but the (free) app ( I guess that's what it would be called), is pre-installed on Google Chrome.

Sounds like a great idea. Kinda like Netflix without the $$.

Unfortunately not offered in my area. :(

I also don't see how they are going to secure this.

I don't know what you mean by "secure this?"
All it takes to sign up for it is a library card.
Since it's free I doubt that they really care that much who accesses it.
If you live in the Albany area you should be able to get this:
http://uhls.org/Get_Started_with_OverDrive.asp

It sounds similar.

on the link for the 5movies - I got a pop up that my computer had been infected. You might want to avoid that one.

You can only get free movies in America and Canada unless any Brits know of anything.I tried them all America only.Seems bit unfair we pay for net aswel

I looked at the links and I don't see why thy wouldn't open in the USA.
