A handful of you know I am from Alabama or at least maintain a home base here.

For several years I was living in my grandmothers quietly by myself until the rest of my family moved by in with a two-week notice.

I found out that amtrek offers a month long pass, so I got that and took my bicycle and set out for the month. I figured from Planning it was easiest to sleep on the train and go to cities I want to and ride my bike around them. So I went from Birmingham,

Wow! You must be a pretty decent cyclist. :)

That sounds like quite the adventure! Thanks for sharing. Did the train have beds for you to sleep on, or did you just sleep in a chair?

the trains just had chairs, but when you are tired, those seem like the hand of god.
but they are really nice to bikes, they keep them in the bar, they dont just throw them underneath like the airplane. you can grab it and leave at any time.
