CWE has always been open to the exploration of ideas and alternative treatment approaches for seizure control. I created CWE largely because of my wife's positive experience with EEG neurofeedback. We have been fortunate to have numerous members over the years share with us their personal experiences - both good, bad and indifferent/inconclusive with various treatments/experiments.

It's always fantastic when members are able to share some success stories. But it's important for CWE readers to bear in mind that any such successes are anecdotal. What works/worked for one (or more) member(s) won't necessarily work for you or anyone else. The experiences shared here are personal experiences and not part of a scientifically designed or controlled study. We strongly urge you to discuss your own care with your doctor before experimenting with any CAM options.

Over the last year or so, there has been a rift between CWE members split over the issue of CAM (alternative) treatments. While it's important for members to keep conversations honest about CAM claims and validity, we do not wish to stifle the exploration of ideas. With that in mind, we are creating this forum room to provide a safe space for members who wish to experiment with various CAM options to collaborate and share their personal experiences with the community.

It is my hope that this forum room might serve as an incubator for ideas which might merit more rigorous attention from the scientific/medical community.

Thanks Bernard! I hope everyone keeps in mind the guidelines you've provided above for this forum room, while enjoying the anecdotes and insights that our CWE members have to offer.

Cheers!

What can one say except THANK YOU, C.W.E. is a wonderful place and I would be lost without it, you are very right in your words of wisdom and the wonderful moderators. Hopefully I for one will remember them.

Thanks once again, Bernard. Although I doubt I'll be visiting this forum room very often, I do appreciate your vision and desire to help us all.
