Someone posted the other day about how they have individual insurance from blue cross that leads them to have a relatively small - I'd like to talk to this person, but can't find their post to see who they are.

And in the meantime, for everyone else who needs to use individual insurance can you post what company use and they are good

individual insurance- its not through work or a group you belong to. You purchase it directly from the insurance company for yourself or your family. Its usually bought by people who aren't able to get coverage through work, but aren't eligible for any free health care programs

Hi there,

I am not sure if it is one of the links about Lamictal and insurance..you may try there..I haven't read back through all of the posts..but there were several regarding insurance and meds..hope this helps. Or also..in the padded room..

I was thinking it was on the lamictal price change thread but didn't see it when I looked back over it. I'm hoping I didn't imagine it.

I want to know what plan this particular person has. There are too many for me to sort through, and you can't view them all at the same time

Hi, darkmark:
I hope this helps: I'm a member of Illinois Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan (ICHIP) It's sponsored through BlueCross. CHIP is a program for people who work but are not eligible for employer's health plan. It's NOT Medicaid & NOT Medicare. Check to see if Colorado has a CHIP program & let me know what happens. Take care! ~AnnT.

Isn't chip "children's health insurance program?"
DarkMark:
Check out this site: www. covercolorado. org; or call 1(800)672-8447. And no, CHIP isn't "children's health insurance program". The only 2 organizations I know of that CHIP stands for are California HIghway Patrol[both the TV show & state police] & Comprehensive Health Insurance Program. ~Ann T.

It was me. I am purchasing BCBS directly from them. I pay $10 for generics. My specialist copays are $50 and primary doctors are $25. They all stay the same. Unfortunately, the premiums go up every January. :(

I have Blue Advantage, Plan B. My deductible is $2500. The higher the deductible the lower the premiums, but I didn't want to make it that high. Once I would meet the deductible they cover 70%, while I'd pay the 30%. They do pay for all the bloodwork though now. It would be MRIs, EEGs, things like that which I would be affected.
