Please call, email, Facebook, tweet and/or visit Speaker Boehner and Representative Upton. We need to ensure that RAISE is passed by the end of the year.
With 107 cosponsors, House Resolution 298 (the RAISE Resolution) has come a long way, but this important legislation is only a few days away from "dying in committee".
The bill needs to be released from committee before it can be voted on and passed. The Epilepsy Foundation needs every advocate to do everything they can to reach out to Speaker John Boehner (OH) and Representative Fred Upton (MI).
We need to get RAISE passed by the end of the year and time is running out. As the 112th Congress comes to a close, we must make our voices heard so that Congress understands how crucial epilepsy awareness is to the epilepsy community across the country.
Congress only has a few more days left to take a big step towards national epilepsy awareness. Please contact either Speaker Boehner or Representative Upton this week and ask them to release House Resolution 298 from committee so that it can be voted on and passed.
