I'm just curious about anyone in the Pittsburgh region being able to get a quick appointment. I need to see a neurologist soon but I just called UPMC and they don't have any appointments available until the end of October! How ridiculous is that... Anyway, if anyone knows how I can get an appointment without having to wait almost 6 months in Pennsylvania please let me know. Thanks, -Jeff

My first neuro was at UPMC. I stayed with him for about 21 years but I was seeing his nurse practitioner more then him. I started seeing a neuro at AGH that I'd met at a epilepsy seminar. He asked me for my name and phone number and wrote them down on a piece of scratch paper he found in his pocket.

I'm thinking he's never going to call me, if I want to see him I'll have to call his office. But wouldn't you know his office called me Monday to make an appointment and I didn't have trouble getting it. He's a good one too. If I have a question I'll send him a message to the office website and I've gotten a response very quick, the same day sometimes. The neuro I had at UPMC I'd have to message, call and I'd hardly ever get a response.

I know others who see neruos in that office and they all love them. PM me and I'll give you more details.

I know Cleveland Clinic is a couple hours away for you, but I was able to get in there in less than two months when I was referred. I've had good luck with them.
(I am over 3 hours from them)
