Great find, Nak. Particularly the part about memory. I wonder how much of the "memory issues" suffered by people with epilepsy are really down to sleep deprivation.

Most of us are on some combination of pills that make it hard to get to sleep, pills that knock us out but keep us from getting quality sleep, and being afraid to go to sleep due to fear of a seizure.

That also begs the question of how long before the damage becomes permanent?
