My daughter had her first visit to her new NEUROLOGIST today and he answered so many of our questions. We now know that she has focal epilepsy which is caused by what she sees not by what she hears or eats. Her EEG results will be in tomorrow so we'll know more on that here soon. An MRI has been scheduled for early next week since she hasn't had one in almost 6 yrs. Her Dr. Says that being that she has been on and off 4 different medications and have yet to control them, depending on what the MRI shows she may be a very good candidate for surgery. Not sure how I feel about that yet but I am happy that we have gotten this far. :woot:
