Tell us your weather for the day

0 degrees with overcast skies at the moment!. Coooold!

It’s mid spring here in Australia so starting to warm up

Still cool in morning but warming up, we’re starting to hit low to mid 20s c during day (not sure what that is in f)

We’re now in daylights savings so lighter at night which is great as I get home late

Just cold enough and rainy that I could light my wood stove for the first time this year.
I love the smell, and the work of tending to it.
We had a 20 degree temperature drop from yesterday 😳
I do need to get more wood before it gets really cold.

Today, when I woke up, my smartspeaker informed that it would be hot with humid conditions later.

So far, it has done nothing but rain.
I am not sure the weather forcasters have it right. (Do they ever?)

Here in the Chicago area, it's finally starting to feel like October. Until last week, it was ridiculously warm for this time the year. The high will only be around 55. Normal high temp is 67--our low so far today is 46, which is pretty close to normal.

Neither hot nor cold weather bothers me. When I was a kid, I lived in a couple places that make Chicago winters look mild. We liv near Duluth, MN--in Superior, WI, and near Sioux Falls, SD.

Is that normal for this time off year?

I thought you guys are in your fall /autumn
Unfortunately it's not that uncommon for Dallas. We've had Christmas's wearing shorts and tshirts, we've also had xmas's where it's been very cold.
Our foliage doesn't usually change until the end of November. Your guess is as good as mine, lol.

Cold and wet.

This morning we had a really strong wind that blew down trees

I was meant to go to church, but I can't even get out of my road.. forget walking to church

Beautiful ☀️
Looking like a long stretch of mid 70’s and sun. No humidity and cool nights.

Spending as much time outside as possible. In 2 months it could be 20 degrees with everything covered in ice and snow. ⛄

I'm hoping for a more "normal" winter this year. I am just tired of these winters that are so warm that the temps are like fall or spring. The cold doesn't bother me. This year, I actually want it to be a snowy winter--it will help our plants next year.

Monday night will have a low temperature of 25 degrees
Thursday high will be 79

Crazy weather!!!

I just wish It would be a normal or colder fall & winter, with regular or slightly greater snowfall. This WHOLE month of October, other than 3 days have had above normal high temperatures.

ANY person who sits there & says "climate change" is a hoax/doesn't exist--I've seen the change over the past 40 years! That is how long we've lived in the Chicago region. Before that, we'd make twice yearly trips to the area since some groceries we needed were only available here. Growing up, I recall winters feeling like winter, & summer feeling like summer--a person could truly feel and see the difference as the seasons changed. Now, there's barely any snow in winter, and summer is often hotter and drier than it should be.

I recall the blizzard of 1978--our family was coming to Chicago & had to follow a semi until we reached a point where the roads were cleared enough. I also remember the "steam bath of 1988", when hundreds of people died in Chicago due to the heatwave.

Last winter was the first time that none of the five Great Lakes reached freezing temperatures. I remember watching the news daily & wondering when Lake Michigan's temp would reach freezing. I also wondered if Lake Superior froze over like it used to when we lived near it.

Hi Gina

It’s just past 7 p.m. here on Monday, November 4th. We’re in the early days of harmattan season here in Nigeria. That means intense afternoon heat waves and cooler nights not as chilly as winter elsewhere, but pretty cold by our standards, given how close we are to the equator. November through late January or early February usually brings dry, rainless days.

Today was blistering hot, to the point where I took five showers before noon just to cool down. Without a consistent power supply, it’s tough to stay comfortable on days like this. Thankfully, the power’s on now, and there’s a gentle breeze with a partly cloudy sky and a temperature around 28°C (82°F). That kind of cloud cover sometimes hints at rain, which would be refreshing, even if it means the power might go out. I’d gladly take a cool, rainy night over the relentless heat, to be honest!

I've visited my relatives in Karachi, Pakistan many times, often in the summer. I understand extreme heat & blackouts. One summer while we were there, there was no electricity for 4 days, then the third & fourth day we also had no water. Tanks under the house were full of water, but until the pumps which filled the rooftop tanks could work, there wasn't any in the faucets.
