Im currently in the process of getting med boarded from the army because of my Epilepsy It started maybe a year after I joined they thought it may have been an isolated episode but a little over a year later I have another and they put me on medication that I hate by the way and a profile I hate so much after that I was doing good for a little over a year again get cleared on my profile and getting ready to drive and do all the awesome things in life and I have another now Im getting med boarded I dont really have an understanding about this process Im in germany at the moment and they are sending me to a WTU in the states and starting the MED and the VA portion of the medboard I hope someone could help me out with this I have no clue what Im gonna do out of the Army ive been in 5 years ever since highschool what jobs are gonna be available for me how much would i make in disability for a seziure disorder.

We have had a few members in the military, and hopefully they will check in with advice. I've listed some threads below that might be of interest. As far as jobs go, it really depends on what level of seizure control you have, and if that limits your choices in some way.

Are you on Keppra? If so, and if you are experiencing the moodiness that can be a common side effect, you might consider adding a supplement with B6 -- it can help.
