Since you are from Oklahoma do you like "Okie from Muskogee"? I guess it is your state song, right? Ours is "West Virginia Hills" and is about someone who has left the state and was wishing he was back home. Why do we have a state song about leaving the state? It sounds like they expect you to want to get out. Honestly with the job situation it is clear why they say half of West Virginia works in Ohio. Hey, that would be a good thread. What is your state song about.:ponder:
 
I like "Okie from Muskogee", but it's not our state song. Merle Haggard isn't even from Oklahoma. I've always wondered why he wrote that song. There's other songs I like better about Oklahoma, but I like it.

"Oklahoma" is our state song.
