2013 National Walk in Washington D.C.

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone else was going to the National Walk for Epilepsy in Washington D.C. I am going for my third time. I will be traveling with a group from Cincinnati Ohio and helping with several youth.

My first two trips were very rewarding. I am sure this one will be the same. I also had the chance to meet other CWE friends on both of those trips. Would love to meet more if it would work out.

when is it? I am located in Winchester VA so I am not far from DC. If I am free and can get a ride I would love to go

Walk Date: April 20, 2013

The walk begins at 9:00 on Saturday, April 20th. There are activities both before and after the walk. It is held on the National Mall and is beautiful at that time with the Cherry trees.

Both times I have been there, over 15,000 attended. Pretty inspirational.

There must be many epilepsy walks that day. There's a few here- one in Dallas, the other in Fort Worth called Stroll For Epilepsy. We might do the Dallas one, its at the zoo so my kiddos will enjoy it, and you can't beat the cause.

I have been flying through the Dallas airport a lot recently. Beautiful city from above. I hope to have time to spend there sometime, but usually traveling for business.

I hope many people can attend their regional walks/strolls.
