:dontknow: Whats going on with my epilepsy and mental copassity at this point! I had my Epilepsy Brain Surgery last December (23rd 2010) and knew that I was go be dealing with a lot of different therapys for a good ammount of time to recover. That was and STILL is just fine with me :e:

My 2 steps back is dealing with the seizures that have come back this past month (March 2011) and all the increases in epilepsy meds that dont seem to be helping! I do understand that this may be just a temporary set back but WTF!!!!! My Epilepsy was completely controlled until MARCH of this year, and now the seizures are back, they are not as severe as they typically were previously ! I've been told by some other people who have had this same surgery that they had the same incident and that it fades away and I will become seizure fee.

I'm wondering if anyone here has any imput for me?

:e: I'm sorry if I'm freakin' out anyone that is concidering the surgery, that is NOT my intention! :e

Hi AmandaLynn --

I have no input regarding post-surgery seizures -- I just wanted to say that I am sorry the seizures have returned, I very much hope they fade away quickly!

What does your neurologist have to say?

my neurologist has said I may need to increase my meds. soo she has started me on a new one(add on) to see if it helps. I'm also going down to one of the Neurosurgery Neurologist that was one of the Dr.'s that was part of my Epilepsy Brain Surgery. Tomorrow I shall see him and discuss all of the same things.

I am so sorry your seizures are back. I'm glad you are going in to see the neurologist. Hopefully he'll have an explanation and a solution.
