Yesterday I went to my husbands Granny's funeral.
My 6yr old asked to come along.
We've always been very open about death. She knows it happens to everyone.
She has already been around to say goodbye to one cat and one dog.
I know that everyone has different beliefs so please bear with me...
We have always said that God made everything and when you die you return to God.
Here are some of her whopper questions...
Is Granny naked when she meets God?
Does God have new clothes for Granny?
Does God meet her when she is in the ground?
Then when we were burying her at the cemetary and they were
putting the casket in the ground...
How does the casket move automatically? Is there a button?
Life is so simple when you believe everything your parents tell you.
She wasn't scared. Just curious.
I'll have to remember to fall back on that mentality from time to time.
