My daughter just recently started with these aura seizures. Were her nose just "tickles" andfor a couple of seconds then stop and she immediately gets tired and falls asleep..I try to ask if it hurts or how does it feel..anyone with the same

Hi newatthis, welcome to CWE!

Some kinds of seizures happen right after a sneeze, so maybe something similar is happening with your daughter's "nose tickles". the sensation she's having could be the sign that a nerve is overstimulated.

Is she photosensitive -- do flashing or fluorescent lights trigger her at all?

Best,
Nakamova

Actually we haven't found what triggers these auras if its lack of sleep or a her eating schedule off like if we r running late for lunch..she always wants to be snaking idk if its cus she's bored or she needs it.and me worried it'll trigger her aura I let her snack
..also stress? She worrys a lot I try to re assure her all the time so she's less worried..I'd just wish I knew..we also recently up her Med. Dosage

Has she been tested for low blood sugar or any vitamin deficiencies? Those might explain her snacking, and could also be seizure triggers. Or if she's snacking on the wrong things, those foods (r what the do to her brain chemistry) could also be triggering.

Here are some things that might be triggers: Fatigue, fluctuating hormones (thyroid, estrogen), metabolic issues (low blood sugar, dehydration, nutritional imbalance), food sensitivities (caffeine, msg, aspartame, gluten), general health (infection/illness), environmental triggers, emotional triggers.

Has she seen a doctor about the auras? Do they seem to be getting worse? Does she have any other symptoms?
