I know that this has nothing to do with epilepsy but I thought that maybe I could get some help from someone on here.

Ever since I found this web site I've gotten so much advice and help from everyone. Other sites that I've been on you'd ask a question and wait days for an answer, if you even got one at all.

I've tried to find a web site for cancer support, but all the ones that I've come across have been like the other epilepsy ones.

My husband found out last fall that he has cancer. He went through surgery, radiation and now is on his last round of chemo. He's down the home stretch, but this part is really hard on him and on me. I'm just hoping that someone knows of a good place to go and talk to people that are dealing with the same thing that we are.

Thanks to anyone for any help

Can either his hospital or his doctor recommend a cancer support group? That's how my mom hooked up with a group that really likes.

He really isn't the one that want's the help, it's me. He doesn't want to deal with the problems that are going on, so I know he wouldn't want to go somewhere to talk to people.

I can't drive and I know he wouldn't want to take me any where "because he's fine".

I know too that he wouldn't want to go to any type of support group.

He hasn't gotten any of the effects that you usually get, he still has all his hair, has actually gained weight and so on. The only thing that he is dealing with is being sick and tired.

He hates being around the people that have had all the effects. He goes in for treatments and I know that he feels bad because he doesn't look like the people in the room that are with him.

Sorry for posting this on this site, but it's just something that I though someone might be able to suggest somewhere to talk about it with other people dealing with the same things that I am.

No apologies necessary. Unfortunately, I don't know any cancer forums, so I can't help you there. Somebody else may though. It's Friday evening, and things tend to slow down a bit at that time, so it may take a little before someone can suggest a forum.

I wish I knew of one I could point you to, but I've never had to look for one.
