This was just out on the UK MSN front page, and I thought it worthy to post it in here.

It's a brief article about the liquid Vimpat syrup being recalled, due to uneven distribution of the key ingredient, lacosamide. Here's the whole article:

Thanx Meetz, I immediatly copied this to our Dutch forum because some kids of our members do use the Vimpat sirup. Weekend now so I think there will be some phonecalls to several hospitals for advice. Thanks again, it's appreciated very much.
 
I think this is why there is a shortage in the U.S. A manufacturer was "shut down" until their quality is FDA compliant. Left a big hole in the supply.

be the case. If that's so, it's sad that it's going to affect more and more people worldwide..... Now, if pharma could JUST get it together. :paperbag:
