What would you all do if someone had sz while eating and they appeared be choking.I need get facts before go into me mothers residential home all guns blazing
 
IMO it would depend on how long the seizure is lasting, so your mom will need to time it. And yes, she should work at clearing your airway. If she doesn't know how your or her family doctor can teach her how. If choking continues beyond the 15 second mark and then 911 should be called and a report of "someone is choking" should be given to the 911 operator. If choking on food is a common issue for you, you should consider getting a suction machine.
