I want to change to a drug so I don't have to get so much blood work every month.
I was talking with PCP about another drug and was other drugs where checked outlike Eliquis,Xarelto and Pradaxa.

Does anyone else have this problem? :agree:

Anticoagulant meds don't tend to play nice with Tegretol. The main risk is that the meds can decrease each other's blood levels. So the monitoring is required to make sure you're getting enough of both. Ideally, your cardiologist and PCP should do the research for you to find heart meds that will be less problematic.

Naka,
my cardiologist did research on meds and that's how they found out they interacted.
my heart meds there are no problems just when it come to meds coumadin it's the only one I can take that doesn't interact with Tegretol
.I don't care to have a full blown stroke.

Yes, except for Coumadin, the anticoagulant meds all mess with Tegretol.
