First day one Vyvanse and have a question?

My doctor prescribed me Vyvanse for concentration difficulties that started as a result of taking Lamictal for 4 years. This was before my relapse last month after 3.5 yrs of being seizure free. So I was scared to take it because of my seizures, thinking seizures might return. College is really hard for me because I daydream when I'm in class and the professors move very fast between topics. Reading the textbook doesn't help because I will be reading something but thinking about something else so I have to read the whole section over (I hope some of you understand what I'm saying). Doc told me to take it only on days with classes. however I wanted to try one out today to see if I have any seizures. So this is my first day on it; I'm hoping nothing bad would happen.

I have a question for those of you who are on Vyvanse or know someone who is one it. I might get a job at a Grocery store in the next few weeks. I know Vyvanse is an amphetamine and the urine drug test will come back positive. So Do I take the prescription bottle to the testing site? or Do I wait until the results come back to explain to them? I don't want to lose this job opportunity because I'm broke from buying all my textbooks and I need money I literally have $19.73 in my bank account!

i think you should take the prescription bottle with you and maybe get a doctors note aswell

Yea I researched a little bit about it and people who take Ritalin and Adderall said they call you back after getting the results and tell the pharmacy to fax your profile Thanks for replying ! *hug*
