I was diagnosed at 16 with everything. Eventually they settled on myoclonic epilepsy and grand mal.
I have felt like a guinea pig since then trying all different medications. Some with very bad side effects.
Through school, holidays, marriage, and pregnancy I have made it to now as hard and crazy as it was. It was a long road but I am finally on Meds that seems to work. They also have side effects but I accept that because dealing with epilepsy is life altering.

Welcome Kim1979.

Good to know you've found a working blend. The side effects can be hell, but not everybody's is manageable. Sounds like you are doing ok. I look forward to chatting with you.

Hi and Welcome Kim,

It is often a long road to finding the right treatment and even the correct diagnosis for E, so I am happy you have finally found something that is working for you. And yes, E is a life altering experience.

Hi Kim, welcome!

Make yourself at home. :)
