I do not have Epilepsy. I had childhood seizures (grand mal) until I was 5. It may be that my brain development caught up enough to minimize their effects on me, I am not sure.
What led me here is research indicating that certain brain-based disorders are highly common in children and adults who have (or had) seizures. I have ADHD. The initial research I have done seems to indicate that conditions such as: ADHD, Autism, and Bipolar, are far more common among anyone who has siezures, whether they are lifelong, or not.
I may not ever be a "regular," but I will try not to be a stranger.
