I had my 2nd seizure today on the way home.I was on the subway and I got on two wrong trains. This has never happened to me in the almost24 years I've been riding the subway. This didn't even happen when I started out riding the train.

This is starting to scare me.I don't know how many little sz's I might be having right now.
Has anyone had anything even close to this start happening to them?

I'll find out soon enough. I'd never had symptoms before a sz (5th one ever) - confusion, brain freeze, blanking out - but it happened Tues at work. I'm having an MRI today and an EEG next Wednesday. I have to admit, I'm scary.

The larger (but non-convulsive) seizures I had used to get would occasionally make me post-ictal effects like being confused as you described as well as really tired & have trouble getting my words together to say what I wanted to say.

What I found most frustrating is that I can't tell when I'm confused & will think I'm doing the right thing until I realise otherwise.

hugs belinda.
in respect to getting on the wrong train twice, my educated guess is a complex partial. and imagine you as well eric?
feeling tired after a simple is normal, but one wouldn't get on the wrong train or be misinformed mentally on what they're doing. take my word for it, aka simple partial queen.

belinda a really good person to ask is mel (2ndchances), maybe send her a pm. she's not on much right now but we personally email so i will ask her to read here.
all the best my dear, and more hugs.

all the sz's i've had on the train before have been really light ones.
simple partials I have at the doctors office.

I won't stay home because I might seize though.

I am sorry that you are going through this! I haven't been diagnosed with E, but based on my symptoms: I feel like I have simple/complex partial seizures. Lately, my "episodes" have increased and I am noticing my brain is taking an impact. I have been much more confused and spacey... I am a cashier at Walmart, and was told to hop on register 7, three times, and yet I still hoped on register 8.... not even aware that I was on the wrong register. So while I can't say I had that critical of a mix-up, i totally understand your fear.
