My husband is Jewish, and we do light candles each year. It doesn't take a big part of our holiday plans, because Hannukah is not a major holiday. It only began to be, for those that want to keep up with their Christian neighbors.

I remember on December, I wanted to go to the local synagogue to celebrate the first night of lights. It was raining hard, and when my husband came home, all he wanted to do was to decorate the Christmas tree. We rubbed horns a bit that night.

It was funny ... that night on a show called 30 Something, they had a similar story with the interfaith couple on the show. We had to laugh.
