Has anyone had side effects from Flonase? (Fluticasone Nasal spray)

Ive been having a hard time with allergies, and when I asked my primary care dr about this, she prescribed me Flonase. I had to wait a couple of days for the pharmacy to get it in, but I picked it up yesterday. She informed me that its not like the over the counter nose spray and I wont see immediate results.

So I did as the directions followed, sprayed 2 squirts into each nose hole.

That was at around 11pm. By 4:30am, I woke up to this pain in my throat and chest area. I had no clue what was going on?! The only way to make it somewhat better is if I sat straight up or stood. I noticed when I ate or drank anything today, it would be so painful. My mother said to check the side effects of the Flonase and I found some information that said it could cause throat pain or chest pain.

I didnt know if anyone here has tried this, and experienced this before?

I just pray to god it goes away soon. I will not be taking the nose spray again!

I did have a problem with it, but it has been so long and I didn't,t keep detail dairy at that time.

Hope you get to feeling better.

I now use a netting pot.

Yeah I was using Sudafed last year, before being taken down to one seizure medication. That was a miracle drug for me. But since Im only on one seizure medication, I didnt think twice about using it after that, and once I had allergies, I used it and started having break through seizures. I had no clue what was going on til I discussed things with the nurse. Since then, I was told not to use the Sudafed. So what I was using since was Mucinex, Zyrtex, and Ibuphrophen. Then a nose spray at night to sleep better. Once my PCP Found out about the nose spray, they said it wasnt good to use since you can get addicted to it. Thats when they had me try the Flonase. But since early this morning about 5am. Im still experiencing the pain in my throat and chest area. Especially when I eat. It hurts to swallow. My drs office was closed today because of the holiday, so Im planning on calling them tomorrow to let them know about this.

I use saline nasal spray and ibuphrophn.

My doctor prescribed me this like 3 weeks ago..and I forgot to pick it up ..omg thanks for reminding me I don't even know if the pharmacy would give it to me anymore because it's been a long time.
