Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, and to boards in general. I have Right Temporal Lobe Complex Partial seizures, and nocturnal seizures. I had surgery 8 years ago. I look forward to gaining knowledge, and meeting you all.

Hi Cloud9,

Welcome to CWE, youll find some great people on here.

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, and to boards in general. I have Right Temporal Lobe Complex Partial seizures, and nocturnal seizures. I had surgery 8 years ago.
I assume you are still having seizures & your surgery wasn't a success.

There are a few members on here who have had surgery, some have been successful, others not.

I had surgery on my left temporal lobe in March 2011 & so far I've been seizure free since the surgery :).

Hello Cloud,
welcome to the board.I had a RTL in 1982 IN Montreal, Canada.
My surgery wasn't successful.I had a VNS for years.
What meds do you take? I take Tegretol,Topamax.Onfi and Phenobarb.

Cloud9, greetings. Just out of curiosity, since your surgery, have you been seizure free or do you still have them? If you don't that is great. Either way, this is a good place to come to, good people here.

Hi Cloud9, welcome to CWE!

Make yourself at home. :)

Best,
Nakamova

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I do still have seizures, and will be seeing my Neuro next month so we can figure out where I go from here.
