Hello my name is Josh, my first seizure was a nocturnal grand mal seizure that I didn't tell anyone about heck I didn't even know for sure myself that was when I was like29 I've had 2 grand mal seizures since then both were at work and apparently are a violent sight to see. The first one someone saw I pulled a muscle in my back and chewed my tongue I remember nothing first thing I remember is a nurse tossing me a wash cloth telling me to wipe the blood off my face that my parents had arrived I was completely confused. My second one at work same story but this time I fractured my skull upon hitting the floor though I didn't bite my tongue that time. Woke up restrained to a guerny in an ambulance apparently I get a little "uncooperative" after my seizures. It's all pretty new to me my pattern is a grand mal every 18 months so far I am on keppra at this point and hate the way it makes me feel but I stay on it so my family and friends don't worry.
