being taking keprra since aguet2010 having strange problems WEIGHT GAIN , hair loss, mood change, can not sleep, legs hurting, and i could go on but wont. anybody else having problems? going to doc today to see what he says.onder:

I had those problems & more when on Keppra except for the hair loss.

Of course my hair is so short & I was so spaced out that it'd be hard to tell.

I've got the mood issues, I haven't experienced Kepprage yet and I hope I don't. Funny thing about the sleep thing, I'm ALWAYS tired during the day but when I try and go to bed, I can't. It's an awful cycle.

Talk to your Neuro and see if there is anything you can do but depending on your epilepsy, keppra might be the lesser of the evils when it comes to side effects.

I was on Keppra and had the weight gain and mood changes, mostly anger and depression. If it gets too bad tell your doc ASAP and he'll either adjust your dose or start you on something else. You might want to try B vitamins. Some people in here say it has helped them. Hope you feel better soon.
