Hello everyone hope everyone is great. Just a quick question does anyone have nasal ulcers? I have been dealing with these pain the asses since before last Aug. About 3 months ago my doc. finally did a culture and it came back... staph. Two antibotics later and bactroban ointment still no relief Iam now using vasaline spray and peroxide. Still no relief my nose still bleeds from the scabes, itches, sore, BASICALLY miserable!! How long do they last and do you ever get over them HELP!!! :e: :ponder: :ponder:
 
So sorry charwa, I have no advice, but I hope you get some answers and feel better soon.

Ow. I'm so sorry you are going through that.

They cultered the sores and it's staph, and they tried those little antibiotic discs on the cultures and found one that worked? (just making sure)

You may want to see an infectious disease specialist. It sounds like the staph may be antibiotic resistant. Not a good situation. Have you been hospitalized lately? (just curious, 'cause thats where those superbugs hang out most)
 
Also people with auto-immune diseases get those, such as lupus etc. Maybe your doc can do some blood tests.
 
THANX for all the infro. I have a doc appt coming up so i will ask about a blood test. You guys have been so helpful, with a place vent, folks that understand, and medical infro. Once again THANX for beeing here.:e::clap::clap:
