I know this forum is for epilepsy and I am epileptic, I am not long here as most of you will know, but I think THANK YOU should be said, I have never felt so alone or unable to cope that I sank into what must be the worst depresion ever, there is still a way to go. Since I joined things have gotten so much better. There are the sad occasions which have happened both personaly and in the family. Now I know self pity is wrong in so many ways, so let me say to each and everyone, from replys to posts, the jokes, the many writings and Poems that mean so much. There are too many of you to mention by name, but if you will forgive, there is one, Nicholasscot21. There will be no stupidy on my part (although I am sure I will manage it somehow). For the insight, the laughs, the storys and poetry, I just want to say Thank you very much.:clap:

Fedup, glad to hear that you are enjoying being part of the CWE family. I agree wholeheartedly -- the members here provide wonderful inspiration, support, and companionship as we journey with epilepsy and its related struggles.

Don't feel that you are "self-pitying". Expressing and acknowledging your troubles is an important first step. Once you do that, you can work on putting them in their place and then leaving them behind. I hope you continue to make progress.

Cheers and hugs to you.

Fedup,

I think a lot of us have been were you've been, through that deep depression and needing to vent. CWE has helped me a lot, too. I agree with Nak, don't feel that you're self-pitying, but only expressing yourself through writing.

Thank you both, a good example of Helping hands. Thank you.

I heartily agree with you! The good people here at CWE have helped me through a difficult time and to learn more about my epilepsy than I ever knew before. Being able to share my personal experiences with others going through a similar situation gives a reason to the madness. Thank you all, you do indeed rock!:clap:

There is no doubt whatsoever of the fact that CWE is absolutely invaluable.

There are not big enough words to describe it.

Fedup you are helping us too :) so thank you for being here.

Thanks Fedup.. my thank you is long overdue to CWE... such caring people..

Fedup you were one of the first people to lift me up. You are an amazing person, and everyone on here is always helping those that fall back to their feet. A great place full of great people.

Agree, agree, agree.

The episodes of depression I've experienced since my first grand mal, through diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy have been hell.

Being able to come here and read and share has made a huge difference in my life. It was odd at first to share and talk, esp given my shyness and I am not a social media or forum user.

Cwe and everyone is so welcoming...thankies everyone! :adore:
