Hello,
I am new here and wanted to say hello, I have had epilepsy for four years. and i'm not quite sure what to say really ^^''.

Welcome Chibi

I've had epilepsy since I was born. Kinda weird when you just think of it as part of who you are.

Good to have you here. What kind of seizures do you have & what kind of medications/ controls are you using to help your seizures?

Also, I moved your post to the foyer so that everyone can welcome you to CWE.

Thank you :D I just changed onto keppra I been on carbamazepine which made me fall asleep on the bus and oxcarbazepine. I mostly have fits rarely but I just found out that I have juvenile absences which I never know was apart of my epilepsy.

I noticed when I was carbamazepine that I would trip a lot and be more awake in the night time. Thanks for the information I found out that I stare blankly at objects while in lessons which made me miss out on most of my education so hopefully keppra will help with them.

Good luck with the Keppra, it does help a lot of people but a lot of the side effects are emotional. Watch out for depression & anger (kepprage) especially.

If you do find those side-effects acting up, some people have found that vitamine B6 or a vitamine B comples has helped with the anger

wow I will try and look out for that at the moment I am alright on them so fingers crossed ^^.
