Hi,
I'm new to your group, while I don't have epilepsy myself, my 21 year old son does. He was dx 16 months ago after multiple grand mal seizures where he was intubated in icu for 2 days, then woke up in a psychosis. I live in the US and he in Australia. We have a very close relationship and I find it extremely distressing to share and watch his frustration, fear and anger about his life change. He's still at the stage where his neurologist is working with him to find medication that works. So that's a little bit about Lachlan and I and the beginning of our journey with epilepsy. Thank you for accepting me into your group.
Michelle
