Hi, I'm not new, but I do have a basic question

Hi guys,
How do I keep the "smilies" from moving while I type my post? I thought I should press "escape", but that didn't do it (or my esc button is broken). Any tips? Thank you!

Are you referring to the smilies that are animated? I believe if you go into your profile page, click on "edit options" under the "Quick Links" tab, there is an option to disable smilies if you scroll down to "Thread Display Options". Unfortunately, this takes away most available emoticons, but if the animation bothers you, I would suggest doing that.

Thanks! It's just the constant movement on my screen that's a trigger. Part of my brain lesion is on my occipital lobe (vision). I appreciate your help!
