Hi,
I'm Louise, I had my first seizure when I was 15 I am 40 now pretty controlled but with some partial seizures I have around 8 a day.
I am on tegretol and sabril and have been since the beginning, my doctor wants me to go back to the neuro as I've had phases of aphasia (so embarrassing when you can't remember the word bus!) maybe to get a drugs change, I'm a little worried :-/
 
Hi Louise, welcome to CWE!

Don't be too worried about tweaking the meds. Your metabolism changes over time, so the meds can need changes too, to keep them working optimally. Do you think the aphasia is med-related or seizure-related?

Hi Louisea! Welcome to CWE! I would agree...don't worry. Medications have changes a lot in the make up of them since you started. There may be a tweak that could really help you out. Good luck!
