hi every one just introducing myself and i have a question
i havent had a seizure for six years but two weeks ago i was rushed to hospital with a suspected stroke as i went numb down my left side etc
i have now been told it could be down to a localised seizure ,ive read about todds paresis but they say it onl usually lasts a couple of days but i still have the numbness all down my side and find it hard to walk about or do anything
is this normal?

Hi chicco --

It's seems unusual that you would still feel numb after two weeks. You should check in with your doctor to be evaluated.

I agree with Nakamova please see a doc. My little girl was born premature with a stroke and if anything is numb for any more than a few hours it needs to be checked and if it is not going away after even a day or probably rechecked.

Take care and welcome!

John
